My life has been shaped by loss. My mum died when I was six. My maternal granny, who became the centre of my world, later passed. Then, a few weeks before Christmas 2024, my dad died suddenly. Each time, I wasn’t ready emotionally, practically, or spiritually. The grief was shattering.

For years, I worked in communications and strategy, with a degree in Public Relations and an MBA in Business Administration. I helped organisations find clarity and purpose in their work but inside, I felt my own purpose was unclear. Now I know what it is: to use my lived experience of grief to ease the pain and lack of support others so often face.

Tender Transitions is a part of my calling coming to fruition. It’s where I combine my professional skills, my training to become an International Coaching Federation accredited coach (in progress), and my faith-led belief that we are meant to thrive beyond our grief.

I know that people grieving - across all walks of life - are often carrying struggles that are unseen, unheard, and misunderstood. These challenges affect our physical, mental, and cognitive health, shaping how we show up in life, love, and work. I believe it takes someone who has walked this road to truly understand the needs of this community, including the cultural nuances that shape how we grieve.

At home, I’m a wife and mum to two daughters and a son. I know what it’s like to hold deep sorrow in one hand and the everyday demands of family life in the other. I also believe that our loved, departed ones want to see us live fully, not fade away.
